9. Example EDL Scripts
Since it is often much easier to understand a new language from examples
then by just learning the vocabulary and the syntax here are a few
example EDL scripts, together with an explanation of how they
work. If the explanations looks overly verbose please bear with me, I
tried to make it as comprehensive and easy to understand as possible.
Please note that the discussion of EDL functions used in the
example scripts isn't complete in all cases, sometimes a function may
accept more parameters than mentioned here etc., please always look up
the full documentation in the previous chapters when in doubt.
