B.37 Simple Field Control (HJS_SFC, Steinhoff group, Osnabrueck)
Module name: hjs_sfc
Additionally required module: hjs_daadc
Description: Pseudo-device module used for controlling
magnets in the
group of H.-J. Steinhoff at the University of Osnabrueck. It's not for a device that
gets controlled directly by this module but instead the magnetic field
is controlled indirectly via the output voltage of a home-built DA and
AD converter, using the module hjs_daadc
. The module
requires a previous calibration of the relation of the DAC output
voltage and the resulting field, with these data getting set in the
configuration file for the module. Because there's no gaussmeter to
control the real field only this calibration can be used. When this
module is used the DAC of the DA and AD converter can't be used, it
gets reserved automatically for this module.
